Privacy Policy

Rogue Surveillance installs solar-powered 4K security camera systems across Southern Oregon. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and who else sees it.

What we collect

When you use the booking form on our home page, we collect:

• your name
• your phone number
• your email address, if you choose to give it — it is optional, and a missing email never stops us taking your enquiry
• the installation address, and the type of property, if you give them
• the package you are interested in
• whether you ticked the box asking us to email you occasional offers

If you tick that box, we store the exact wording you agreed to alongside your consent, so there is a record of what you were asked rather than a bare "yes". We also record when the enquiry arrived, so we know how quickly we replied.

Why we collect it

To contact you about your enquiry, prepare a quote, and arrange an assessment visit. If you ticked the marketing box, we also use your email to send occasional tips, seasonal reminders and offers. Nothing else.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

Cookies and tracking

We use two measurement tools, and both run for all visitors to this site:

• Google Analytics 4 — shows us which pages get visited, how people found the site, and whether it works on their device. It sets cookies and sends Google your IP address and what you did here.
• Meta Pixel (from Facebook/Instagram) — tells Meta when a visit that began with one of our ads turned into a booking enquiry, so we can see which advertising actually produces work and stop paying for the rest. It sets cookies and sends Meta your IP address and what you did here.

We do not receive your identity from either tool — they report activity and totals, not who you are. You can block cookies in your browser settings, or browse in private mode, and this site will still work: you can book an assessment with tracking fully blocked.

Payments

If you go ahead with an installation we raise the invoice through Square, and payment is made on Square's own secure pages. Your card details are never entered on, or stored by, this website. Square handles that part of the transaction under its own privacy policy.

Your camera footage

Once your system is installed, recordings are stored on the local storage hub inside your own home. We have no access to your footage and never receive it. There is no cloud account and no subscription, and your recordings do not pass through our systems at any point.

During an assessment, our technician photographs the property and the proposed camera positions. Those photographs are attached to your job record so we can write your report and record precisely what was installed, and they are kept in our photo storage.

Your report link

After an assessment we may send you a private link to your report. It is a long, unguessable address rather than something anyone could find by browsing, and we record when it is opened so we know it arrived. Please treat it as private — anyone holding that link can see the report.

Service providers

These companies process information on our behalf, and only for the purposes described above:

• Cloudflare — hosts this website and stores our database
• Web3Forms — delivers your enquiry to our inbox when you submit the form
• Google — website analytics
• Meta — advertising measurement
• Square — invoicing and payments

We do not disclose your information to anyone else, except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records while we are working with you and afterwards, because we may need to know what was installed at a property and when. If you ask us to delete your details we will, unless we are required to keep something for tax or legal reasons — and if that applies, we will tell you what and why.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can stop marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any of them, or simply by calling us. Nothing about asking is held against you.

Children

This site is intended for adults arranging work on their own property. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. The date changes only when the text does.
